Since its inception in 2007, the Billboard Women in Music Awards has celebrated trailblazing women who drive innovation and inspire change across the musical landscape. This year’s ceremony will feature live performances and tributes that underscore the cultural and artistic impact of its recipients. Jennie, whose recent singles “Mantra” and “Love Hangover” have made notable marks on the Billboard charts, is also gearing up to release her debut solo album, Ruby, further cementing her status as a global icon. Her achievements in both music and acting make her a fitting choice for the prestigious Global Force Award.

Aespa, formed in 2020, has rapidly ascended to become a major force in the K-pop arena. With the international success of their debut full-length album, Armageddon, and an ongoing world tour, the group’s selection as Group of the Year reflects their impressive global influence and dynamic presence in the music industry.
